19 days!

In less than three weeks time I will be on an airplane headed to Copenhagen, Denmark! I think I might explode with a combination of anxiety and excitement. I've been looking forward to this since learning about the trip last fall and I can't believe it's really here. It's been a very stressful few months and going to Denmark and Germany will be my reward for keeping my head above water.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me out during the planning of and saving for this trip. I wouldn't be going if it weren't for Dad and Helyn, Mark and Mom, Paul and Shawna, Bob and Sally, Jim and Cappy & Gabe. Okay this is starting to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech so I'll stop. Thank you all, you know who you are!

So, if you're at all interested in my musings about traveling abroad, feel free to follow me on here. It might be entertaining even just to hear about me being a klutz and embarrassing myself in a foreign country. I'll have limited access to internet for the majority of the trip but I'll post whenever I can and keep you all updated on my take of Denmark & Germany (heaven help us all :) ).

For those of you reading from blogger, just a heads up, I have older posts on here and I will just say that some of my topics are... well... I tend to rattle on about whatever happens to be on my mind with little concern for punctuation or content. There is nothing terribly offensive but I sometimes happen to just post whatever is on my mind. I'm not saying don't read the old ones (they are out there for that purpose) I just want to make note of this.
